Ramsay Hall is student accommodation belonging to University College London, situated on Maple Street, Fitzrovia, around one hundred metres from Tottenham Court Road.^[1] It currently houses 560 students and provides both breakfast and dinner for students.^[2] Ramsay has a reputation throughout UCL as being the ‘party hall’, and the hall has its own Hall Representative and Social Committee who are responsible for organising events. Famous former residents include all four members of the British band Coldplay, who met each other while living in Ramsay hall. Ramsay is situated around a courtyard and is divided into four interconnecting blocks, named after four great cities: London, New York, Paris and Rome.
